Here are some things to look for:
Lack of snow or frost on the roof.
Or numerous roof vents placed in odd locations.
Strange smell similar to skunk coming from the house.
No garbage on garbage day.
Unfriendly neighbors who don’t want to meet you.
Strangers coming and going at odd hours.
The house otherwise appears to be vacant.
The curtains are always closed.
Continuous electrical hum.
Power surges or brown outs in the neighborhood.
Many grow-ops go undetected. They often set up for a year or two and then move on. There might be one on your street and you don’t even know it.
