Wateroo’s Barrel Yards development will transform the look and feel of uptown Waterloo. It is a massive project comprising a hotel, office buildings, townhouses apartments, condos, retail and senior’s residences.
It’s great to see such an ambitious project underway. For as long as I’ve lived in uptown Waterloo, the land has been an ugly fenced-in field. Before that, they tell me that industrial buildings dominated Waterloo. So much has changed in one generation. And so much is going to change with the Barrel Yards development and the impact on uptown. I can hardly wait.
