Previously known as “the Waterloo Regional Children’s Museum” this week the newly rebadged and rebranded THEMUSEUM unveiled itself at 10 King St W, Kitchener. The museum opened in September 2003, after eight years of planning and fundraising.
Unfortunately the Children’s Museum never really found an audience. It struggled financially, “retooled” and evolved into its present entity, hoping to broaden it’s appeal to include more than just young families.
