The August numbers are in; 475 homes were sold through the Kitchener Waterloo Real Estate Board in August this year. For perspective, 586 were sold in August 2009 and 460 were sold in 2008.
For the year, we are 5.6% above last years numbers to date with 4,616 units sold. 5.6% just happens to be the average year-to-date increase across the country as of July according to the Canadian Real Estate Association.
Seems like we’re in a healthy and balanced market, no?
