Good Bye Centennial

I don’t often read the Record, but when I do I like to read it online. I was reading it just now. Turns out that we are going to tear down Centennial Stadium next year. It’s old and rusty and serves no purpose. When was the last time anyone was there? I’ve been there once, ever, and that was many years ago for a school track and field event. It would cost $1.2 million to rehabilitate it, and that, in my opinion is a lot of money just for sentimentality. The sensible city councilors voted well on that vote, thanks.

If you want sentimentality, go to the KW Greek Festival. Have a kebab and think about what it was like to be young and free.
