Where is Beechwood Forest? Is it a good neighbourhood?

stoke Drive, Beechwood ForestQ: Where is Beechwood Forest? Is it a good neighbourhood?

A: Yes it is. Come see for yourself this weekend at our OPEN HOUSE at 197 Stoke Drive.

The neighbourhood lines on the map, no matter where you seem to be in Waterloo Region are blurred. Where does Westmount end and UpTown begin, for example, or Clair Hills and Columbia Forest? But what does it matter anyway, as long as you are near a good school, in a neighbourhood that is appreciating (and appreciated) and that you have a comfortable and happy home?

Where is Beechwood Forest? Is it a good neighbourhood?

Beechwood Forest is often overlooked. It is not Beechwood and it’s not Beechwood West. it is not even that close to either. Built in the early to mid 1980’s, the neighbourhood is beside where Fischer Road joined with Hallman Road, forming the very important Fischer-Hallman Road, north to Laurel Creek Conservation Area and south to the Conestoga Parkway.

Beechwood Forest is nestled between the Henry Sturm Creek and the Detweiler Creek, which join a little further on, just past the Fenwick Green at the Filsinger Park before eventually feeding into Victoria Lake near downtown Kitchener. When you’re driving up Fischer-Hallman, past Victoria Street, you drive down into a valley. On your left is Monarch Park and then Stoke Drive, the entrance to Beechwood Forest. The location is excellent. It is quiet and hidden, and interesting topographically, yet near public transpiration, shopping and great schools. Both Sandhills Public School and St Dominic Savio Catholic School are very highly rated. You can shop at all of the stores along Ira-Needles Boulevard or Highland Road West. My office is at 370 Highland Road West, a fact important to me and hopefully you too.

There are lots of trails and parks in the Beechwood Forest neighbourhood.
