Joined ages ago and never posted — classic lurker behaviour. Question that finally dragged me out: I head south for the winter and noticed some sites just don't work from down there. Is that normal, or is my account on some list?

Totally normal — most sites lock play to Canada, so plan your sessions before you fly. And whatever you do, don't try to sneak around it with location tricks. Accounts get closed for that and balances get messy.
